TAKING CHRISTMAS PHOTOS
It's that time of the year, and also been a while since I posted some photos!!  Here is a recent photo and perfect for the holiday.

Tips for taking Christmas photos.  Use the christmas tree lighting as pictured above to capture and highlight the subjects features.  Set your ISO settings high for photo taking in low lighting.  I also increased my exposure and set my apeture low (to get the blurry background effect).  Lastly, have fun with it....EXPERIMENT EXPERIMENT EXPERIMENT!  Practice makes perfect and sometimes you just have to play around with your settings to get the lighting you hope for.  I'll be doing more Christmas photos this weekend.

Vanessa's Session

Here are some photos from my sessions with the lovely Vanessa.  We took photos on two separate occassions and two different locations.  I love trying out new locations and there is really a large variety here in Las Vegas. 



As promised here are several photos from my photo session, with the lovely mom to be, Karen!  And the timing was just right.  After several hospital visits and some preterm labor we weren't sure if we would get a chance to have our session.  Thankfully the twins decided to wait a little longer so mom could get some pictures.

 

Maternity Session

I will be doing another maternity session tomorrow afternoon.  Last minute deal, with a mom to be due in 1 week!  So time is definitely of the essence.  We will be shooting at some interesting Las Vegas locations, so I can't wait to see how they will turn out.  I will post those and some more of the last maternity session soon.
