Welcome to my blog! I'm a Las Vegas based photographer and mother of two beautiful daughters. I've always enjoyed the art of photography and capturing all the special moments. I am currently pursuing my degree in photography to further expand my knowledge on all aspects. I aspire to take unique photos that are natural and really capture the essence of the individual. I hope you follow and learn as I learn to be a better photographer!

Little Robert

I had a blast at my session with little Robert and his family.  He was so much fun and incredibly cute!  A reminder of why I love photography so much.  Here are some of the photos from our session:

Final Layouts

These are the final layouts submitted for my final project (motorcycles).  I made a few different layouts since I had so many options to choose from.  Four will be chosen for our class magazine.

Motorcycles are FUN!

For my final project in Commercial Photography I decided to try shooting motorcycles.  We'd worked with small objects and people in class, so I wanted to do something at a different level.  It was a challenge with 30mph gusts out in the dry lake bed where we shot, but I think it was most definitely worth it!!!

Angelina, 10 Months

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of taking pictures of sweet Angelina, on her 10th month birthday!  She was very mobile, making things more "interesting".  Had a great time and loving how the pictures turned out.  Here is a little taste of our session:

Neon Park

I had an amazing day today shooting at Neon Park.  For those of you who don't know, that's where old Vegas signs end up.  Very neat to see the history of Las Vegas and get the opportunity to shoot there!  The models were absolutely amazing!  LOTS of pictures....so hard to just choose a few to upload...LOL, so enjoy :)

Easter Fun!

Had a lot of fun this past weekend shooting little miss McKenna for Easter.  I got to use some new props and also test out some lighting equipment borrowed from my Commercial Photography class.  Here are just some of the first photos from this session:

Stay tuned for more pictures from this session and some others I did over the weekend.  I also did an event shoot which was surprisingly fun...although my arms got a good workout carrying the lighting equipment around!

Newborn Frankie

I had the pleasure of doing my first official newborn shoot this afternoon.  His mother also happened to be the first maternity shoot I ever did.  So I was glad they asked me to shoot his photographs as well!  It was a great learning experience.  Baby was definitely in charge of things!  He didn't like certain positions and did not like being naked...lol.  That's ok I can work around that.  So tips....patience...don't be rushed and plan to be there longer then most shoots.  I was there approximately 3hrs I think, but it was worth every minute.

Little Frankie is 3 weeks new today!  I decided to play with textures on this one.  Thanks to http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/ for the free textures and tutorial on how to use them!

Oh and I also added a new sig!  Love the way it turned out.

Played around with some templates courtesy of http://www.thecoffeeshopblog.com/!  I love me some freebies :)
